Sermorelin is a synthetic version of a naturally occurring substance that causes release of growth hormone from the pituitary gland. Growth hormone is naturally produced by the pituitary gland and plays an essential role in muscle growth and recovery.
Sermorelin injections can cause some common side effects at the site of injection, like irritation, itching, sensitivity, swelling, pain, and redness. Less common side effects include difficulty in swallowing, dizziness, flushing (redness in face/neck), headache, nausea, rash, sleepiness, taste changes and trouble sitting still. If you notice worsening side effects with injection, hold medication and consult your medical provider for further recommendations. Importantly, if you develop signs/symptoms of a severe allergic reaction, such as swelling of the lips/tongue/face or difficulty breathing, please call 911 and seek emergency care immediately.
Labs are not required.
Follow up visits are not required for all patients, but are available if needed. Depending on health history and certain conditions, some patients will require follow-up visits to continue treatment.
All patients are required to fill out a Refill Form each quarter. This helps your clinician understand if your medication is right for you and gives you the opportunity to change any health changes, side effects, or medication preferences. You will receive this Refill Form via email.
After a clinician reviews your intake form and confirms you are eligible to receive your Woodwork medication, your order will ship within 2 business days after your prescription is approved.
